Julian Washburn

Spurs sign former UTEP Forward Julian Washburn. 6' 8" , averaged over 11 pts with UTEP. He was C-USA Defensive Player of the Year

I expect him to be waived and signed to Austin Spurs. After sending Ndoye and,Sykes to Austin, Spurs still have 2 spots left for D League.

NBA News/Rumors 10/22

Spurs make it official and waive four players. Jimmer Fredette (gets 500K), Kiefer Sykes (D League Spurs), Youssou Ndoye(D League Spurs) and DeShaun Thomas, who is expected to return overseas. There are a few NBA teams interested in Thomas, who could also end up in Austin. Spurs must trim one more person down to hit max of 15 on roster. Keep in mind in the past the Spurs have gone with 14 to leave one spot open in case of injuries or waived veterans (Jan/Feb). 4 candidates to get waived are Reggie Williams, Rasual Butler, Jonathan Simmons and Matt Bonner. Simmons is the only player listed with a guaranteed contract. While Bonner is seen as a lock to remain on the roster, it is possible the Spurs waive him either now or later. The Spurs could potentially waive him by January. In my opinion, Look for Reggie Williams to be cut. Everyone else stays on the roster.

After the Spurs loss to the Suns, PF LaMarcus Aldridge returned to the court to work on his shot. He didn't leave the court until 11:14pm. He was told he had to be off the court by 11:15pm

Tristan Thompson finally agrees to a 5 year 82 million dollar deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs now have 2 our of the 6 highest paid power forwards in the League.

T Wolves exercise options on Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, Shabazz Muhammad, Adrien Payne and Grogui Dieng

Bucks have waived Jorge Gutierrez, Marcus Landry, and Josh Powell. roster now at 15

Lakers have waived Michale Frazier II and Robert Upshaw

Andre Drummond will wait on a contract extension, so Pistons get 13 Million in Cap space.

Amerileague President Jonathan Jordan has resigned. This is right before their very first draft. there are also allegations of signed players not getting paid. Not the perfect way to start a new league.

Warriors signed Xavier Henry and Chris Udofia

Derrick Rose has started taking shots while wearing mask

Heat sign Briante weber and waive Corey Hawkins

Jazz exercise options (16-17) on Rudy Gobert, Dante Exum, Rodney Hood and Trey Burke.

Fun Fact for ESPN's NBA Rank 2015.. Spurs are the only teamwith 5 players in the Top 60. Four teams don't even have a Top 60 player. Behind SA, Golden State has 5 in the Top 66 and the Cavs have 5 in the Top 72.

Pop on Jimmer, "it is what it is. There's alot of players. It's all about the right fit with the right player. For another team he might be great . We're just too full on that position.
